Alameda Album Release
Portland Release Show Sept 1
Returning a year later from their well received debut Seasons/Spectres, the Portland based quintet Alameda present Procession out September 15th. With a corresponding tour and several dates alongside Raymond Byron and the White Freighter (Ray Raposa of Castanets), Alameda are bringing their orchestral folk across the U.S. this summer beginning with their Portland Release show on September 1st.
Weaned in the mile-high confines of Denver, Colorado, the core of Portland chamber-folk collective Alameda—guitarist/vocalist Stirling Myles, and cellist/ vocalist Jessie Dettwiler—have weathered their share of evolutions during their musical marriage. Earning accolades for their collaborative, communal approach in the sharing and writing of songs, the band’s oeuvre welcomes a new addition September 15 with the release of their second full-length album, Procession, on Myles’ label False Migration.
