Australia-based Atlas Genius, are playing Crystal Ballroom on August 28th Their debut 4-song EP (Through The Glass) dropped on Warner Brothers in June, and is infused with a sophisticated musicality and classic sensibility...each of the songs would fit seamlessly if somehow slipped into a long-treasured mixtape.
The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Keith Jeffrey, his brothers Steven on bass and Michael on drums and English keyboardist Darren Sell. These guys actually sold more than 50,000 downloads of their breakout single, “Trojans,” before they were even signed—all without any promotional efforts! “Trojans” spent four consecutive weeks at #1 on listener-generated Alt-18 countdown on SiriusXM’s Alt-Nation, and has been added by many radio stations including Music Choice, KNDD/Seattle, WWCD/Columbus, KNRK/Portland, XTRA/San Diego, KITS/San Francisco.
