Canadian electro-pop trio Dragonette‘s new single “Live In This City” has been released and is now available on iTunes. Led by a driving drum beat and syncopated handclaps, the album track features the band’s rock-oriented flavor over fiercely assured lyrics.

An anthemic album of edgy electronic dance rock music that the group is notorious for, Bodyparts will be released September 25th. The mean guitar line and fierce lyrics of “My Work Is Done” will make you want to roll down the windows on a sunny summer day. “Let It Go” is a club-worthy track with a fist-pumping chorus, infectious rhythm, and a pulsing beat. “My Ghost” tenderly slides along soft arpeggiated synths, filling a melancholically beautiful soundscape, while "Rocket Ship” is a groove-worthy track with a pulsating synth line.

Dragonette performed their first album single “Let It Go” LIVE on Good Morning America, as well as “Hello,” a collaboration with Martin Solveig which hit Top 10 in over 30 countries as well as achieving platinum status in the US and scoring the band a JUNO Award this year. There are more chances to experience the band’s energized performance and infectious pop melodies live as Dan, Tina, and Joel kick off a headlining national tour with The Knocks this fall.
