Love to snowshoe? Interested in the animals that live on Mt Hood? Join Cascadia Wild's Wolverine Tracking Project and develop animal tracking skills while helping us survey for rare carnivores such as wolverine on Mt Hood.

This citizen science project provides an opportunity to learn the art of animal tracking while helping survey for rare carnivores on the Mt Hood National Forest.  19fd ; Trainings take place in the fall and survey trips go out all winter long, enabling participants to build a solid background in animal tracking. Survey trips are lead by experienced trip leaders who help each participant build their skills, with the goal of instilling people with a sense of place and rebuilding our relationship with the land. There are opportunities for people of all skill-levels to be involved, ranging from family days to overnight trips. For those interested in building their tracking skills, we offer a long-term, intensive study program with the potential to become a trip leader. Short-term participants are also encouraged.

Season cost is $50; family friendly. First training session is on Oct 30th.  Please visit their website for more information: www.cascadiawild.org. Or contact Cascadia Wild at info@cascadiawild.org or 503-235-9533
