Lakewood Theatre Company to Open Season With See How They Run
Starts July 13th
The Brits are at it again! Find yourself in Merton-cum-Middlewick with Penelope, Lionel and (of course) Ida the maid as they manage to turn the local vicarage upside down and drop you to the floor with laughter as Lakewood Theatre Company kicks off summer with the rollicking comedy See Ho 1cfd w They Run.
See How They Run, directed by Scott Parker, opens Friday, July 13 and continues until August 19 with the following performance schedule: Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 PM, Sundays at 7:00 PM on July 15, 22 and 29 and Sunday matinees at 2:00 PM on July 22, August 5, 12 and 19.
The theatre is located at Lakewood Center for the Arts, 368 S. State Street in Lake Oswego. Ticket prices are $28 for adults and $25 for seniors. The story: In an idyllic English village near the end of World War II, a local spinster suspects her vicar's wife, a vivacious actress, of having an affair and determines to expose the situation. Add an escaped prisoner, a handsome actor, a visiting bishop, a rotund priest and some meddling neighbors, and anything can happen in the delightful romp of mistaken identities. Scott Parker directs a cast including Steven Beckingham, Natalie Stringer, Nicole Accuardi, Hans Eleveld, Scott Engdahl, Brandon B. Weaver, Brett Wilson, Lisa Knox and Gary Brickner-Schulz.
Scenic design for Lakewood's production is by Jeff Seats, costume design is by Margaret Louise Chapman, lighting design is by Kurt Herman. The stage manager is Domeka Parker and assistant stage manager is Felix Kelsey. Hair design for the production is by Jane Holmes, technical director is Kurt Herman, properties are by Felix Kelsey and the producer is Kay Vega.
