Oh my. It's finally here -October. And you know what that means (aside from pumpkins, costumes, inappropriately clad college students, and candy)? Post5 Theatre presents its second ever sketch-comedy show, Death/Sex II: Spectravagasm.
Being an evening of eleven brand new sketches intermingled with audio-visual elements, some music, and -of course- zo 1dd4 mbies, Spectravagasm promises to make you laugh while probably leaving you slightly uneasy about the whole bloody affair (and that's literal, not in the British sense of, "That was bloody brilliant," though it will be that too).
Spectravagasm runs Friday October 5 through Saturday October 27 (All Shows run Fri and Sat at 10:30pm) at Milepost 5 Community for Creatives. The address is 850 NE Oregon, just 4 blocks South of the RED, BLUE, & GREEN MAX lines. All shows are pay-what-you-will, with a $10 suggested donation.
So, yeah, it's technically pay-what-you-will. However, if your funds are rather tight at the moment (dude, your C-3PO costume is going to be awesome!) don't let money stop you from coming. Milepost5 would rather have you in the audience and tell your friends than not come at all. They’ve got 11 actors, 11 NEW sketches, and enough cussing and innuendo to get you through until at least Christmas.
Oh, and by the way, Spectravagasm, is pretty vulgar. So they would like to remind you that it’s probably not suitable for those under 17 years of age, or those whom are easily offended by such material.
