Red Hands Black Feet to Play PDX

Hailin from Boise, Red Hands Black Feet is coming back to Portland to play at Someday Lounge on Sunday 8/5 at 9pm with Monoplane and Paper Or Plastic. Back in March, B 1b8f ePortland covered their surprisingly intesnse show at Treefort Music Fest.

Red Hands Black Feet formed in 2009 with the goal of writing post-rock that anyone could get into, drawing from influences as diverse as Russian Circles, Modest Mouse, and Minus the Bear. Over the past three years, they have steadily built a dedicated following around the Treasure Valley and developed a dynamic, thrilling sound.

The group just released the first song off their upcoming album and are touring for the first time. The song, "This Is What Happens when You Befriend a Stranger in the Alps," is available for free download on soundcloud and bandcamp.
