The Lovely Bad Things Announce Tour Dates With Broncho
Play Portland's Bunk Bar September 14th
Los Angeles' The Lovely Bad Things fresh back from their first international performance at Primavera Festival in Barcelona, Spain, where they successfully funded their trip through a combination of crowdfunding using IndieGoGo, passing the hat at house shows and a well timed 1b21 license of their song "I Just Want You To Go Away" to the MTV show Awkward, are pleased to announce West Coast tour dates with Oklahoma's Broncho and their addition to the 2012 FYF Fest lineup.
Deeply embedded in the DIY scene, The Lovely Bad Things' Camron and Brayden Ward, Lauren Curtius and Tim Hatch, have gained a devoted fan base over the course of their relatively short three-year existence. Releasing their debut full length cassette Shark Week in late 2010 and follow up EP cassette, New Ghost/Old Waves on Burger Records in June 2011, the band soon found themselves sharing the stage with such noteworthy acts as The Growlers, The Thermals, Screaming Females, OFF!, Wavves, No Age, and hosting and performing with local and touring bands including Ice Age and Peter, Bjorn and John at their rehearsal space, a.k.a. The Lovely Bad Pad, a.k.a. Camron and Brayden's parents' garage.
New Ghost/Old Waves was released digitally and on vinyl in March 2012 on Volcom Entertainment.
