Aquariva Heats up Summer with a New Happy Hour Menu
The Waterfront Restaurant Freshens Up its Happy Hour Offerings
Aquariva Italian Kitchen + Wine Bar (Aquariva) released a new happy hour menu this week to usher in the hot summer weather. The fifteen new menu items include sharable foods that are more amenable to easy conversation. Offering stunning views, Aquariva is perfectly positioned along the Willamette River, i 1d3b n Portland’s south waterfront district, at 4650 SW Macadam Ave, with daily happy hour from 3 – 6:30 p.m.
“Our vision was to create options for people who were in the mood for upscale food, but wanted more casual fare — allowing their conversations to flow more easily,” said Tom Robertson, General Manager of Aquariva and the Avalon Hotel & Spa. “Our goal was to keep things light and fun but still maintain the excellence you can expect from Aquariva.”
Aquariva’s Italian-inspired happy hour menu will include brand new light, summery dishes that integrate fresh and local Northwest ingredients. New items include: mussels & pattatin, fried calamari, a Highland Oak burger and two-way sliders. Many of the restaurant’s timeless favorites are still available, including veal and pork meatballs, spicy marcona almonds, crispy fries and daily cocktail specials.
“The release of the new happy hour menu will showcase the best of the Northwest’s seasonal fish, meats and produce,” said Tom Robertson. “The food will be offered on small plates and compliment the best view of the waterfront in downtown Portland.”
