The North Willamette Vintners Host Canines Uncorked
Wine tasting goes to the dogs at the annual Canines Uncorked benefit for the Oregon Humane Society on Saturday, July 28th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Join eleven premier North Willamette wineries for a unique wine-tasting event where dogs are the guests of honor! In addition to wine tastings, Canines Uncorked includes a host of activities for your canine companion such as massages for dogs, pet-friendly ice-cream sundaes, canine couture fas 1e47 hions, an animal communicator to let you know how Fido is feeling, and much more. The featured wineries are: A Blooming Hill Vineyard, Apolloni Vineyards, David Hill Vineyards & Winery, Elk Cove Vineyards, Garden Vineyards, Helvetia Vineyards, Kramer Vineyards, Montinore Estate, Plum Hill Vineyards, SakeOne and Tualatin Estate Vineyard.
A $40 “License to Taste” provides a Passport and Wine Tour Guide that can be presented for a complimentary tasting at each winery. The Passport provides information about each winery and the special pet activities taking place as part of Canines Uncorked.

o $40 includes the full-day tastings at all 11 wineries, plus a host of dog-friendly activities at each location. Passports can be purchased online at www.oregonhumane.org through July 23. Passports can also be purchased the day of the event at Apolloni Vineyards, Elk Cove Vineyards, Montinore Estate, and Plum Hill Vineyards.
Lunch in the Vineyard
An al fresco lunch in a vineyard is the perfect complement to Canines Uncorked. A few participating wineries will also offer lunches available for purchase including:
· Apolloni Vineyards – pulled pork sandwiches with chips and fruit salad
· Garden Vineyards – picnic lunch baskets with fresh baked bread and crackers, local artisan cheeses, cured meats & smoked salmon, garden fresh pesto, fruit compote, seasonal vegetable salad, fresh fruit and dessert.
· Kramer Vineyards – snack basket with Quail Run Creamery goat cheese and savory hazelnuts from Strohmayer Fruit and Nut Co.
