The Wedge Brings Tasty NW Cheese to Portland on October 6
Regional Cheesemakers Unite For Day-Long Celebration
The Wedge returns to Portland on October 6th, featuring regional cheesemakers showing off their wares and celebrating all that is cheese.
This farmer’s market-style event will feature artisan, specialty and farmstead cheesemakers from th 1be2 roughout the Northwest.
There will be up to 35 Northwest cheesemakers such as, Briar Rose, Rogue Creamery, Tillamook, Tumalo Farms, Willamette Valley Cheese Company, and more.
The festival is organized by the Oregon Cheese Guild andRogue Ales & Spirits and is free to the public. The Oregon Cheese Guild suggests a $5 entry contribution to help the nonprofit Guild grow Oregon’s artisan cheesemaker community.
It happens Saturday, October 6, 2012 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Green Dragon (928 Southeast 9th Avenue Portland, OR 97214). SE 9th Avenue will be blocked between Belmont and Yamhill.
